COMO ACALMAR UMA MENTE ANSIOSA

É normal, todo mundo, alguma vez na vida se sentir ansioso, nervoso ou desconfortável com determinada situação em que se encontra. Reprimir os pensamentos ansiosos não irá funcionar, eles vão aparecer novamente e, às vezes, com mais intensidade. Quando isso acontecer é importante saber como lidar com essas emoções e aqui ficam algumas sugestões do que você pode fazer para ajudar a aliviar a tensão nestes momentos:

– Observar mudanças na respiração – Sempre que você se sentir um pouco ansioso ou nervoso tente tomar conhecimento de quaisquer alterações na sua respiração. O stress pode causar hiperventilação, que nada mais é do que aumento da quantidade de ar inalado. Acalme-se e tente alterar para respirações lentas e firmes.

– Limpe a sua mente de pensamentos negativos – Toda vez em que você estiver num sofrimento mental é útil limpar temporariamente a sua mente de todos os pensamentos que estão perturbando você. Fixe em momentos felizes da sua vida.

– Cuide de sua mente, corpo e espírito – Retire-se do caos, distraia-se. Que tal ler, cantar, dançar?

– Sente-se em um cômodo escuro por um minuto. Quando estamos nervosos, muitas vezes pode ser uma sensação de estarmos sobrecarregados. Entrar em um cômodo escuro pode ajudá-lo a se sentir mais calmo e controlado – pense nisso como uma versão exagerada de fechar os olhos.

– Esteja preparado para enfrentar o que está deixando você nervoso. Pode ser um término de um namoro, uma apresentação de um seminário ou uma entrevista de emprego. Uma coisa é estar preparado, outra é se sentir confiante e seguro de si. Trabalhe em dizer a si mesmo que você sabe exatamente o que é preciso ser feito e que é capaz disso.

– Use afirmações positivas. Isso pode ajudá-lo a ver a vida de uma forma mais positiva e a acalmar seu nervosismo em eventos futuros. Basta pensar coisas positivas a seu respeito e dizê-las em voz alta. Ao criar o hábito de usá-las diariamente, você terá um estilo de vida mais calmo. Antes de fazer algo que o deixa nervoso, diga “Eu estou preparado e mereço me sair bem. Vou fazer um ótimo trabalho”.

– Converse com alguém sobre o seu nervosismo. Pode ser com um terapeuta, parente, amigo de confiança ou qualquer outra pessoa com a qual você se sinta bem.  O simples fato de você se abrir sobre as suas preocupações pode deixá-lo se sentindo melhor e mais aliviado em relação aos seus medos. Seja honesto sobre seus sentimentos.

Concentre sua atenção no que é útil e deixe o resto acontecer!
